1.What is the application designed to do?
Vuvox is a very excellent mixture of online multimedia instrument , which can easily uploaded the pictures , music, video and other digital files mixed into a slideshow. You can also put them into your blog to share with others.
2.How could it be re-purposed as a learning tool?
Firstly, it has guidance on the production, there is no technological barriers, the students can easily grasp the technique of VUVOX to use in the study. I think a learning tool must be convenient to use. Under this condition, the students can use it as a learning assistant tool.
Secondly, it is support for photos, text, video, audio and the common media format, and made into new digital media through mixing. It is a personalized mixture tool, which focus on a variety of multimedia. It can replace the tradition learning tool, to stimulate students interest in learning.
Last but not the least, the tool supports the individual maker, or to produce cooperative. It also supports the online sharing. The students can form a group in class time to cooperative to complete the project, and also allows the students to complete independently after school. It can replace PPT, PDF and other traditional teaching tools for students to demonstrate in the classroom, which can be tell about some knowledge, a process, a story. It is very flexibility.
3.What are the actual and potential affordances of this application?
VUVOX gives you the power to create one of a kind stories in an instant. All you need to do is provide whatever cool content that you have. Take pictures, video, audio and text. Mix it up. Choose backgrounds, colors, textures that create your vibe and then you are ready to share your piece with the world. One of the interesting function is VUVOX Collage. In Collage, users can order multiple images as a gallery context, VUVOX Collage will be displayed in the form of the timeline described in your story to the user. VUVOX Collage also incorporates the framework of Cut-out Express emergence tools , you can enjoy in the gallery talk about your ideas and put them into the gallery context; At the same time, in gallery, users can freely embed text, hyperlinks, slides, music and video and so on. The Service Centre remains tightly around VUVOX hypermedia polymerization. In the future ,it still have a lot of function to present to the user, it is everlasting.
4.How would you justify your choice of this application?
Our group created a Vuvox Collage, which narrated about information technology application in medicine in Hong Kong and Health Future Vision. It is meaningful and vivid.




Our group also got interested in using Vuvox for digital stories. I thought it was a nice tool, in part because the presentation flows from left to right. This flow from left to right is similar to the way English speakers learn to read. I also liked Vuvox because it allows visitors to leave comments. 回复删除It is an interesting software, however, there are some advantages according to my experience.
回复删除1. It provides three functions. That's good. But it is kind of complicated for students if students used this software without instructions of teachers.
2. Because there are so many things could be added in vuvox, students would take too much time on it to make a fancy vuvox.
3. It takes time to present the final products.
