Marketing plan-starbucks(1)

Behaviorism:
Concept:
Behaviorism means that under a specific environmental stimulus onset, they can make a proper response to the performance, it means learning happened. Such as through stimulate of the equation of "1+1 = 2", get the answer 2 which is the reaction. Behaviorism also known as the theory of "Stimulus - Response - Strengthening".

Behaviorism used in teaching behaviors, including use of teaching tips, exercises and strengthening. Generally speaking, these strategies has been shown to promote the following tasks of learning, namely: to identify (recall the facts), to generalization (definition ,make examples, understand the concept), to establish contact ( auto-completion of a specific program).

Behaviorist, whose teaching objectives are: the stimulus has been presented to the learner is able to rise to the expected behavior. To achieve this goal, the learner must know how to respond appropriately, and under what conditions make this reaction.
For example, in the case of “Marketing Plan”, the teachers applied behaviorism to explained the marketing basic concepts, namely the understanding of the concept. For instance, in the SWOT ananlysis, the teacher introduced “SWOT is a situation analysis. It studies where the firm or product has been recently…….” In the future courses, students will be able to through the stimulus of "SWOT", resulting in his reaction to this concept.

Cognitivism
Concept:
Cognitivism highlight the more complex cognitive processes, such as thinking, problem solving, language, concept formation and information processing.Cognitivism is similar with Behaviorism to some extent, it is stress the  environmental conditions in the promotion of learning. Teaching explanation, demonstration, example and examples for matching are all good way to guide learners.

Cognitivism is generally considered more suitable than the behaviorism to explain the more complex mode of information (like reasoning, problem solving, information processing). However, it is important to point that even so, the actual teaching goal of two theory is similar: using the most effective way to transfer knowledge to the learners. It means that knowledge can be analyzed, decomposed and reduced to basic blocks. If you can exclude irrelevant information, then knowledge transfer can be accelerated.
For example, in the case of “Marketing Plan”, the teachers applied Cognitivism to let the students click on the icon by themselves watch the “SWOT” analysis of Starbucks’s internal and external, favourable and unfavourable specific analysis, study a successful brand, Starbucks, Students through the processing in the brain to produce its own response.
In the "Marketing Mix" process, the teacher asked the students to "Drag the following options into the appropriate category." In the process, the teacher's role is becoming to create a scene to let students to independent inquiry, rather than providing ready-knowledge. Students should be personally involved in the activities and found the new things, in this course , the students will inevitably use some forms to organize information, which has the best effect on memory .

Construcitvism:
Concept:
Not only one significance can people gained from the experience, so we can not know a pre-determined "correct" meaning. Learners can not migrate knowledge of the outside world to the memory .On the contrary, they are build their own interpretation based on personal experience and interaction.
Like learning new words, it should be clearly explained and application in the specific context in the subsequent (instead of find meaning in the dictionary ), any contents of the knowledge should be used in the specific situation.

Learners must be allowed to use of various tools in a real world, which is appropriate and effective. Therefore, the ultimate measurement of the learning outcomes is to look at the learner’s structure of knowledge in the promotion of practical thinking and the effective of performance.
For example, in the case of “Marketing Plan”, teachers use constructivism to allow students to design a markeing plan for Starbucks, learners through cooperation and discussion, to analyze problems, gather information, identify options, until the problem-solving ,so, learner who can deeply understand the corresponding concepts, principles, establish a good knowledge of the structure.
